About Amira
Amira Hatta is an international jewellery designer who has worked on some of the most prestigious pieces of jewellery across the globe, creating beautiful designs incorporating some of the world’s most valuable stones.
Her exceptional experience working at the very top level has stemmed from a young age- at just fifteen, she designed a fancy cut flower shape Amethyst piece, paved with green Tsavorites and round Diamonds. At sixteen years, she completed her diamond course in GIA (the Gemological Institute of America) before moving to London to study jewellery design at the prestigious Central St Martins, which has turned out some of the most revered designers in history.
During her time at St Martin’s, she won an award on behalf of the University of the Arts for her graduation rings collection. At the same time, Amira worked for David Morris and Horton London to improve her experience across the field.
More studying awaited after graduating with a colour stone course in GIA allowing her to become a Graduate Gemologist at just 24, completing a full and broad education of all aspects of jewellery design and a deep understanding of precious stones.
Amira then began to work on some ground breaking pieces with her parent’s company, Hatta New World, designing bespoke pieces for private clients ranging from Royalty to celebrities, creating pieces that are worn in North America, Europe, Middle East, East Asia and Russia. Her experience working with high end materials and design has supported her with the expertise and understanding required to start her own collection.
Amira Hatta’s collections are specifically designed for clients who appreciate jewellery using rare stones, designed for one and only.
